Wine and olive oil are a form of culture: grapes, olives and vegetables are products of our land as much as painting and poetry. Maixei’s DNA is deeply steeped in art and tradition and cannot fail to transmit its values and history.
This is why we like to shine a light on people who have been able to enhance Dolceacqua and bring its essence to the world. The names of our wines tell authentic stories, of small and great local heroes, who can move even those who meet them for the first time on our labels: Mario Raimondo Barbadirame, Frédéric Mistràl, Lucrezia… their stories are told by our bottle illustrations, like the ones designed by Musante and Davide Puma: famous Ligurian artists who deeply love our territory.
There are many other great personalities to discover and projects being developed in our winery… stay tuned! Maixei’s aim is to produce wines that tell the story of its land: each one with a peculiar character that cannot remain anonymous. It results from the desire to offer products that are unique in terms of production, quality and idea.
