Maixei production areas are distributed along two valleys: Val Nervia and Val Verbone in the Italian province of Imperia, Western Liguria. The ancient village of Dolceacqua is a magical place, enchanting artists and travellers.

Maixei wines are the result of the passion and commitment of 30 winegrowers. Since 1978, they are members of a cooperative that has been committed to enhancing and growing a job fuelled by a genuine passion for the land.

Our grape varieties: Rossese, Vermentino and Pigato
Rossese di Dolceacqua is the most important DOC wine of Western Liguria. Among the Maixei wines it is the one we hold most dear: the celebrations wine. It is one of the symbols of the entire Region and the first Ligurian DOC, awarded in 1972.

Maixei oil mill is registered in the Riviera Ligure DOP control system. It produces a particularly light, fruity and sweet oil, characterized by low acidity and healing properties.
